Te Papa is proud to present a celebration of our kaumātua from throughout Aotearoa with the release of the Taikura Kapa Haka 2022 series.

As part of our Matariki celebrations in the past, Te Papa has hosted Taikura Kapa Haka groups from throughout Aotearoa. And to keep the tradition alive we’ve captured each group in a virtually accessible performance filmed within the rohe of each group.
