  • explore previous earthquakes around the world and the destruction they have caused both socially and structurally

  • empathise with survivors of these earthquakes, and try to understand what they might need to secure their future

  • ideate solutions to some of these problems

  • create, prototype, and test these solutions

  • present their solutions to the group and talk about the process they went through.
