Tuhinga is the open-access peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. It publishes original collections-based research in the natural sciences and humanities including museological research.

Papers are published across a range of different disciplines to reflect the breadth and range of museum-based scholarship. Tuhinga focuses primarily on New Zealand and the Pacific, but all contributions are welcome.
